Sean Varner


Sean Varner is a graduate student in Missouri State University's Defense and Strategic Studies (DSS) program. There he has focused in courses on strategy and defense policy, and is particularly interested in nuclear issues. Varner is currently employed as a research assistant for strategic systems policy at the Lockheed Martin Corporation. Prior to that, he was a student fellow at Grove City College's Center for Vision and Values, a conservative think tank. He was also an undergraduate fellow with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a security-conscious think tank located in Washington, D.C. Sean received his B.A. in political science and history at Grove City College (located north of Pittsburgh, PA) in 2008. He is originally from Shippensburg, PA.
